Do you trust those conspiracy theories, or think there might be atleast an element of truth to them?

I have to write a speech on conspiracy theories. However, I have to include RELIABLE references. which is almost a paradox for the topic. So i was wondering if people can post some sites that are useful and informative.

I heard an interview with James Van Allen not too long after the Fox tv moon landing conspiracy theory show. He was incensed that people could even go there.
